A couple of days back, I was at a family party and I couldn't help but see just how heavily invested into sports we all were. Then again, my family is pretty competitive at its core, so I suppose it shouldn't have been terribly surprising. With sports memorabilia galore and talk of statistics being thrown left and right, it was a process that never seemed to end, in my eyes. With Islanders versus Rangers being the most recent sports-related debate in my family, you can be certain that I saw quite a bit. My little brother and my cousin would feud with one another when it came to Facebook since it was rare that we got to see each other in person. Matters became more ridiculously humorous, though, once they met up at the party while wearing jerseys in order to show their team devotion.
